Little Women: A Story of Children
This picture book version of the classic
story of four sisters in nineteenth-century New England is based on the
1994 Columbia Pictures movie and illustrated with color photographs
from the film. The film's screenplay was by Robin Swicord and stars
Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon, Gabriel Byrne, Eric Stoltz, Samantha
Mathis, and Trini Alvarado. The film and book tells the story of the
March family--spirited Jo, beautiful Meg, sensitive Beth, and romantic
Amy--as they make their transition from girlhood to womanhood.
